The University of Huddersfield

Déprimé is a series of photographs touching upon the taboo topic of depression and mental health. I created Déprimé for my final major project at The University of Huddersfield replacing the human figure with flowers for their emotive symbolism and also due to the fact they are alive. Using one flower to create two images, one a positive, one a negative in order to show the different emotions someone suffering from depression can go through at any given time.
