Preserving our neighbourhood from becoming a cookie cutter community has been an upward battle as wartime bungalows are being replaced with monster homes. Yet our lawn bowling club has virtually stood the test of times attracting a younger generation.
Established in 1913 Leaside has been a town I have called home for all of my life. Having grown up in this community it has been amazing to see the major and minor changes that have occurred over the years due to urbanisation. With this series I wanted to bring forth the originality and how time has stood still for many iconic landmarks. By displaying my images in a diptych form really emphasises the before and after effect.
