The Private View
The private view is an essential part to an exhibition however, more so for this one, as invited was hopeful future sponsors and partners. The schedule was planned to leave spare time to finish off any finally details but unfortunately because of the previous unforeseen problems, the exhibition was finished minutes before the opening. Although, it was still a huge success, next time I would leave more time for preparation when possible. However, the private view was a large success with over sixty attendees over a four-hour period. As spoke about before, it was interesting to see how the change in the design of the space, reflected on how the visitors moved around the room. After seeing this change, I grew to prefer it as it made the exhibition more unique and social, which is what The Pupil Sphere aims to be. Whilst the exhibition was underway, I carried out interviews with visitors to use later for testimonials for the website and funding applications.
